Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be happy with the Clear Cost Education. This page explains when a refund is available, how cancellation works, and how to reach us. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
1. 12-Month Commitment
Subscriptions to the Clear Cost Education are sold on a 12-month commitment. By signing up, you agree to pay for a full 12 months, whether billed monthly or annually. Monthly billing is a payment convenience, not a month-to-month cancellation right.
- You may cancel renewal at any time to end service at the end of your 12-month term.
- Requests to end service before the 12 months are complete are not refunded and remaining months remain due.
- After the initial 12 months, subscriptions renew for another 12-month term unless you cancel before renewal.
2. Monthly Billing
Monthly plans are charged on the same day each month for the length of your 12-month term. Canceling stops future renewal after the term ends. We do not prorate or refund the current month once it has been billed.
3. Annual Billing
Annual plans are billed once for the full 12-month term. Annual purchases are refundable within 14 days of the initial charge or annual renewal date. After 14 days, the term is non-refundable, but you can cancel to prevent the next annual renewal.
4. Team Seats
Team seats are billed as a prorated add-on on top of your base subscription:
- Adding a seat creates a prorated charge for the remainder of the current billing period.
- Removing a seat mid-cycle creates a prorated credit toward your next invoice.
- We do not issue cash refunds for removed seats.
5. Service Disruptions
If a bug or outage on our side makes the Service materially unusable for more than 48 consecutive hours, contact us and we will issue a prorated credit or refund for the affected days. This does not apply to third-party outages you can normally expect (email deliverability delays, upstream voucher data issues, your website host, etc.).
6. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
To cancel:
- Open your account and go to Billing → Manage subscription, or
- Email us and we will process the cancellation for you.
To request a refund:
- Email zach@custermarketing.com from the address on your account.
- Include your school name and the reason for the request.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we can usually resolve billing questions faster than a chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of the account and collection of any remaining balance on your 12-month commitment.
